Our Founder, Danita Hampton, has been in the industry for almost 20 years. Danita strives to provide the most up-to-date techniques and trends in the industry with her clients and team. In 2018, Danita traveled to Laguna Beach, CA to become certified in (NBR) Natural Beaded Row Extension Method.

Being the first stylist in Charlotte to offer hand-tied hair extensions, she prides herself in being the best in the area in installing this luxury service to her guests. The stylists who train with her side by side in The Parlor produce solid work as well.

Since 2018, Danita has become certified in Habit, hidden bead, and various other extension methods. Danita is also an Extension Educator for one of the most premier brands in the industry. Danita has been featured in several magazines and online beauty blogs for her expertise in the industry, such as Allure, Women’s Health and Byrdie.

The Parlor is a calling and it’s in Danita’s heart to create a local tribe of stylists in Charlotte that carry the same passion and excellence as she does for extensions, color and continued growth through education and hard work.

The Parlor gives back to the community through local schools and charities, and partners with Champions of Change annually for LOVE week.
